Our Story:

Showtime Sound LLC was founded in 2006 by owners Scott Tydings and Shawn Hocherl. They saw a need for high-end event production services based in the Frederick area. The business rapidly grew into a festival, touring, private, and corporate event service. Showtime Sound now produces Audio, Video, Lighting, Staging, and Backline for events around the world.

Our roster includes talented team members who have toured the globe to produce first-class events for A-list acts. We work with the latest in live event technology. Whether it is a local event for an exclusive guest list, or a stadium of fans across the country, Showtime consistently demonstrates a mastery of event production.

Current Open Positions:

Shop Technician -  Are you looking to grow your skill set while earning compensation? Are you into audio but haven’t gained experience in other key event production areas such as lighting and video? In this entry-level position, you will be trained in all departments and learn a little bit of everything. Full-time and Part-time positions are available. Prior experience is preferred but not required. You must be 18 years or older for this position. Successful candidates should have great teamwork skills and a positive attitude. 

Operations Manager - Showtime is seeking a full-time Operations Manager. This position will coordinate with Showtime leadership and internal departments to manage a successful team. This role will rely on strong technical understanding, along with a working knowledge/experience in audio, lighting, video, staging, and backline setup and operational logistics. The Operations Manager will manage the daily work of our warehouse staff, technicians and logistical operations. Event production and management experience are required for this role.
