We are honored to share that Showtime Sound has been nominated for two prestigious 2026 industry awards: FRONT of HOUSE Magazine’s Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year and PLSN Magazine’s Hometown Hero Lighting Company of the Year! Showtime appears on both the official FOH Ballot and the official PLSN Ballot under the Northeast region. Receiving national recognition for both sound and lighting is especially meaningful because it reflects the full-service approach our team brings to every production.

These nominations belong to our entire Showtime family. They belong to our dedicated warehouse team, whose attention to detail ensure that every piece of equipment is ready to perform. Long before a truck leaves our facility, this team is working behind the scenes to give every production a strong foundation. They belong to our drivers, who safely move the gear that makes each show possible. Their work often begins before sunrise and continues long after the audience has gone home. These nominations belong to our show and tour crews, who transform plans and truckloads of equipment into live experiences. They work long hours, solve problems in real time, and remain focused on delivering the level of professionalism our clients expect. These nominations belong to our office staff, who manage the details behind every event, from client communication, scheduling, purchasing and accounting, to marketing, travel and staffing. And these nominations belong to our leadership team, whose vision, experience, and trust have helped Showtime grow while preserving the personal relationships and high standards on which the company was built. Every department contributes something vital. Together, they make Showtime Sound more than an equipment provider. They make us a production partner that clients can rely on from the first conversation through the final load-out.

These nominations also give us an opportunity to thank the remarkable professional network that has supported Showtime Sound through the years. We are deeply grateful to the experienced tour managers who keep complicated productions moving, the agents who connect talented artists with audiences, the event planners that ensure every detail is covered, and the venues that welcome our teams and collaborate with us to create exceptional events. Naturally, we are grateful for the talented clients these professionals support. Every artist, performer, organization, and production team places a degree of trust in us when Showtime becomes part of a show. We never take that responsibility lightly.

The FOH and PLSN Hometown Hero awards recognize regional production companies that demonstrate excellence in their craft and make a meaningful contribution to the industries and communities they serve. For each award, readers vote for companies across six North American regions: the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Northwest, Southwest, and Canada. Regional voting will narrow each field to six companies - one winner from each region. Those regional winners will advance to the final Parnelli Awards ballot. The final round will determine the companies honored as Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year and Hometown Hero Lighting Company of the Year. The awards will be presented at the Parnelli Awards ceremony on January 29, 2027, in Anaheim, California, during The NAMM Show.

For us, being nominated in both categories is a celebration of the way every part of Showtime works together. Audio, lighting, video, staging, backline, transportation, logistics, administration, and leadership are not separate stories.
